KitaBita’s 1st Quarter Report Card (Weeks 1-5)
Everything in me HATES to see a D anywhere near my grades. However, being transparent with my loyal readers is more important than the embarrassment.
But hey, what’s even sadder than my 63.27% (D-) win percentage is the fact that the win percentage for 25/32 teams (78%) of the teams that actually get paid to win is even lower - including the defending Super Bowl champs and two entire divisions (NFC South and NFC East). What in the world!
Hopefully, these losing teams improve right along with my season average. But let’s leave the past in the past and look ahead to a brighter future…
KitaBita’s Picks 1st Quarter Lessons Learned
- Pay closer attention to the injury reports before finalizing picks.
- Don’t second guess the picks. Go with your first mind.
- Take emotion out of the picks…sometimes, to be right, you have to pick teams you hate - like the Cowboys - and go against teams you love - like my Commanders.
