Hey fellow football lovers! I was NOT prepared to post yesterday because it was Wednesday, and my brain was already gearing up for Thursday Night Football. LOL!

Anyway, this week is already off to a bang with the Seahawks defeating the Patriots 13-10. There’s so much that can be said about the game from the injuries to the penalties. But let’s talk about the interceptions thrown by Drake Maye - one, two, three strikes you’re out buddy. I mean, of course not literally, but HOW? Fear? Nerves? Paid off? 🫣 I certainly won’t try to guess, but I hope for the sake of the Patriots’ season they figure out how to help Maye score more touchdowns than interceptions. Congrats to the Seahawks for capitalizing on whatever that was.

Enough about that though. There’s so much more to be excited about this week:

  1. First ever NFL game in Australia. 🥳 I picked the Rams simply because I like Stafford more than I like Purdy. 🤷🏽‍♀️
  2. Division game for my Commanders to set the tone for the season against my confused 17-year-old son’s Eagles. 😒 I mean, I picked the Eagles to help my win percentage but I’m still going to talk my trash.
  3. Setting the baseline for KitaBita’s Picks for this season. One ✅ down; 15 more to go. Fingers crossed!
